Our Team


Ajay Patil
Co-Founder and Principal
Ajay Patil brings over 30 years of experience in live entertainment and event production. Before co-founding Showcall in 2001, his career spanned a wide range of roles across the special events industry, including serving for eight years as a Senior Lead Advance Representative for the White House, managing logistics for Presidential and First Lady travel worldwide.
At Showcall, Ajay has helped lead the production of major global events, including Papal Masses, U.S.-hosted international summits, and the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas, Texas.
Ajay currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Saint John’s Catholic Prep. In his free time he enjoys traveling, fishing, skiing, and cheering on the Ravens with his family.


Blayne Candy
Co-Founder and Principal
Blayne Candy brings decades of global production experience to Showcall. As Co-Founder and Principal, has led complex technical and broadcast projects across six continents, including Presidential Inaugurations, G20 Summits, and Papal Masses.
Blayne pioneered Showcall's award-winning host broadcast model, delivering high-impact media coverage for clients worldwide.
An avid cyclist and runner, Blayne resides in Maryland with his wife, Amanda, and his two boys.


Jacki Grubb
Senior Vice President of Operations
Jacki Grubb brings more than 25 years of financial and operational expertise to Showcall. As Senior Vice President of Operations, she oversees finance, human resources, and strategic planning. Her leadership ensures day-to-day efficiency while supporting long-term growth.
Known for her commitment to excellence and team-focused approach, Jacki plays a central role in sustaining Showcall's culture and continued success.


Chris Capaletti
Vice President of Production
Chris Capaletti is a veteran systems designer and audio engineer with a portfolio that includes Kevin Hart arena tours and top-tier music festivals. Known for delivering pristine sound quality under pressure, Chris has led high-profile corporate productions, including the Scripps National Spelling Bee. He now oversees integrated AV solutions, applying a rigorous focus on innovation and precision.


Kevin Fraser
Director of Engineering and Account Management
Kevin Fraser is a seasoned technical director with 25+ years in live event production. His resume spans major Canadian broadcasts, high-profile festivals, and international acts including Céline Dion. With deep roots in AV and client service, Kevin is committed to building strong client relationships and executing their vision and objectives for each event.


Mike Scarfe
MHA Audio Founder
With over 50 years experience in the audio world, Mike Scarfe is a legend in the industry. He has toured internationally with recording artists since 1975 and played a key role in the design and implementation of the sound system used for Live Aid in 1985.
In 1983, Mike founded MHA Audio and built it into the premier audio reinforcement and live event production company in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
Following Showcall’s merger with MHA Audio in January 2025, Mike brought unparalleled institutional knowledge and industry perspective to the team. He continues to be a vital contributor to Showcall’s success.


Derin Gursen
Audio Department Manager
With over 13 years of experience in high-level corporate, concert, convention, and mega-scale special event production, Derin Gursen has built a reputation as a highly skilled audio engineer and production operations manager.
Known for his leadership, technical expertise, and strategic problem-solving, Derin continues to push the boundaries of live sound and production management—not just as a profession, but as a passion.


Sydney Ziegler
Account Manager
Throughout her career in the production industry, Sydney Ziegler has led a wide range of events. In addition to her role as Account Manager, she serves as Producer and Technical Advisor, collaborating closely with clients and vendor partners.
Sydney holds dual bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Theater Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.


Eric Andree
Account Manager
Eric Andree brings more than 15 years of experience in live broadcast and field production to his role as Account Manager.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Eric began his career in television and news. As a field producer for the Associated Press, he quickly became a trusted figure in covering global breaking news and major events. From President Obama’s historic visit to Cuba, FIFA World Cup tournaments, and more than a decade of red-carpet coverage at the Academy Awards, Eric has helped bring some of the world’s most pivotal moments to audiences worldwide.


Matt Schectman
Warehouse Operations Manager
With more than a decade of experience in logistics and warehouse management, Matt brings deep expertise in high-volume, time-sensitive environments and a strong commitment to process improvement and team leadership.
Outside of work, Matt is passionate about music and technology. His adaptability and dedication make him a valued leader at Showcall.


Naomi Tasker
Accounting Specialist
Naomi Tasker, Showcall’s Accounting Specialist, brings exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical rigor to her role. Naomi spent two years as a biologic lab technician, where she focused on protein purification in support of vaccine development. Her experience across highly regulated environments has shaped a disciplined, methodical approach to accounting and financial processes.


Rachael Celi
Labor and Travel Coordinator
Rachael Celi joined Showcall in 2022 and quickly moved through the ranks, succeeding in every role she undertakes.
As Labor and Travel Coordinator, Rachael works closely with the Production and Account Management teams to meet operational needs while maintaining a broad focus on client satisfaction.


Hailey Sauser
Administrative Assistant
As our Administrative Assistant, Hailey has a strong background in customer service, insurance, and member support. She brings several years of experience in client-focused roles where accuracy, organization, and clear communication are essential.
Hailey brings a reliable, calm, and supportive approach to Showcall, helping keep operations running smoothly while ensuring everyone she assists feels supported.


Sage Fagbohun
Video Engineer
Sage Fagbohun brings a creative and collaborative approach to technical production. With a degree in Theatre and experience in streaming, robotics, and live broadcast, he has contributed to major events, including Presidential Inaugurations and international conferences.
Sage is a critical part of our events both from a planning perspective and onsite.


Nick Gingerich
Audio Engineer
With over a decade of experience in live event technology and audio engineering, Nick Gingerich brings a deep passion for sound and tech to every project.
Combining creative insight with technical know-how, Nick is driven by a commitment to overall excellence.


Sean Hanner
Lead AV Technician
Sean Hanner manages the deployment of cutting-edge broadcast infrastructure for Showcall events nationwide.
With a background in broadcasting and crisis communications, he brings calm, capable leadership to high-pressure environments.
Finding a passion for video at a young age, Sean has turned that into a career by bringing that passion to live events.


Spencer Barron
Video Equipment Coordinator
Spencer Barron plays a key role in quality assurance across all events, overseeing both the setup and operation of software and hardware. His work is central to ensuring reliable, high-quality experiences for clients and guests.
As our Video Equipment Coordinator, Spencer is responsible for making sure that each event is supported with the best video equipment available.


Jason Gallun
Audio Equipment Coordinator
Jason Gallun brings a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and a calm focus under pressure to his role as Audio Warehouse Assistant.
As Showcall's Audio Equipment Coordinator, Jason ensures that the audio equipment on each event is working and ready to perform for each of our clients.


Bruce Nelms
Equipment Integrity Specialist
Bruce Nelms has been an integral part of MHA Audio since the late 1980s, and is now an equally invaluable member of the Showcall team. Throughout his career, he has toured with legendary acts including AC/DC, Ziggy Marley, and The B-52's.
Known for his knack for fixing things, Bruce is instrumental in ensuring every piece of equipment is in peak condition, confidently providing our events with optimal performance.


Ashton Patil
Production Associate
Ashton Patil is Showcall's Production Associate, with a background spanning live events, film production, and digital media. With experience both on event sites and behind the scenes, Ashton brings a hands-on approach to every project.
His experience in live event production and digital photography allows him to adapt across different production environments.


Jesse Vlahos
Warehouse Assistant/Driver
Jesse Vlahos got his start in live events at just 16 years old, working in AV and banquet setup at the Lied Lodge & Conference Center. Since then, he has continued to deepen his hands-on understanding of live events production from the ground up.
As Warehouse Assistant/Driver for Showcall since 2025, Jesse supports nearly every event we produce.


Matthew Hammett
Driver/Warehouse Assistant
Matthew Hammett spent a portion of his career working in accounting. He later transitioned into driving-focused positions, most recently, serving as a school bus driver for Frederick County Public Schools, where safety, punctuality, and professionalism were essential.
With experience on both the administrative and operational sides of the job, Matthew plays a vital role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
